Dear Payroll Managers and Timekeepers,
We have a few important updates to share:
1. License Removal in Timekeeping
The process for removing licenses works differently than it did in the previous timekeeping system.
If license removal is not performed correctly, an employee may inadvertently be included in an upload or not rehired properly in the future, so please be sure to carefully follow the steps in this article: https://ucsb.service-now.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0012381
2. Three new reports have been added to Timekeeping:
- Time Detail - Assignments: This report shows hours broken down by Assignment.
This could be helpful for departments with employees who have multiple assignments and want to see how hours were distributed among each assignment. - Condensed Time Detail - Assignments: This report shows hours broken down by assignment, and includes a sum total of all hours across all assignments.
This could be helpful for departments that have employees with multiple assignments and want to evaluate things like holiday eligibility. - Employee Transactions and Totals: This report shows the different transactions on the timecard and an employee’s totals per pay code.
This could be helpful for departments that want to verify an employee’s quantity of regular hours and calculate holiday eligibility.
