New Pay Code for UPTE and CNA employees

Dear Timekeepers and Payroll Managers,

Recent updates to the UPTE and CNA contracts require the creation of new earn codes in UCPath to support the provision of a personal day intended to replace a regularly scheduled workday.

The following new pay code is now available in Timekeeping:

HX-NX-RX-TX Personal Day
- Maps to FHN in UCPath for hourly employees
- Maps to FHL in UCPath for salaried employees

Please note that this pay code is only available to department Timekeepers and Payroll Managers for entry on employee timecards. This restriction ensures that request and approval processes, as well as usage limits, are properly followed, consistent with other codes such as FMLA.

Departments should establish internal procedures for reviewing and adding this code to employee timecards.
