Dear Payroll Managers and Timekeepers,

On January 22nd, ETS will implement a new Kronos Pay Rule naming scheme to better align our Pay Rule nomenclature with how employees are paid in UCPath.

To improve user experience, this change will:

  • Clarify employees’ Pay
  • Highlight Holiday amount defaulted to employee
  • Clean up Employee Overtime Criteria
  • Retire EP/PP terminology to clarify employees’ timekeeping procedures

The change is scheduled to start at 8:00 am and finish at approximately 3:00 pm. Users will be able to access Kronos and perform their normal functions during the change; however, we ask that Payroll Managers and Timekeepers avoid making any changes to Pay Rule assignments during this window in order to avoid confusion.

Users will not need to complete any actions as a part of this change. Detailed information about the new naming convention will be sent closer to the date of change.
