Dear Payroll Managers and Timekeepers,
 
In a memo sent April 1st, 2021, Interim HR Director Lisa Romero shared the latest guidance pertaining to COVID-19 related leaves. Departments should consult with Academic Personnel regarding leave usage for academic employees who do not report time in Kronos.
 
For all Non-exempt Biweekly Paid Employees and Exempt Monthly Paid Employees:
Payroll Managers or Timekeepers will need to enter the appropriate pay code(s) and the amount of hours of leave to each applicable date, and save the changes to the timecard. Employees cannot enter these pay codes on their own timecard, and will need a second person (who is a Payroll Manager or Timekeeper) to enter these pay codes on their behalf.
