Dear Payroll Managers and Timekeepers,

For departments that would like to track usage of the “COVID-19 Admin Leave With Pay” Pay Code in Kronos, we recommend using the “Employee Transactions and Totals (Excel)” report.

You can review instructions for running the report in the attached job aid. The job aid also outlines how departments can customize the report to only track the COVID-19 Pay Code specifically, and save the report as a Favorite. The job aid is available on the Electronic Timekeeping website here.  

Because the COVID-19 Pay Code is not an accrual, it will not appear in UCPath’s “Admin - Review Absence Balance” page. However, it will appear on the paycheck detail screen, labeled with the earn code RVN (for hourly employees) and RGC (for salaried employees).

As a reminder, only Payroll Managers and Timekeepers have the ability to input the COVID-19 Pay Code onto timecards.
